Your responsibilities
Gathering product assembly requirements and equipment specifications from development and logistic area
Search and select suppliers and suitable Technologies
Design/support new assembly layout (factory/ assembly-logistic process)
Support Factory Master Plan definition/new product deployment by technological background and evaluate alternatives in the assembly & Logistic processes (e.g. smart automation, AMR,AGV introd.)
Explore and launch trial session or pilot project for new leading-edge technology (future trends/EU projects)
Evaluate solutions and find the right trade-off between cost and performance
Keep updated know-how of product /components traceability
Lead and coordinate equipment deployment (asset acquisition process/project management)
Support development and implementation of system /equipment in a standard manufacturing/IT architecture
Ensure the hand-over process towards factory and maintenance support, supporting a maintenance evolution
Identify investments and evolution for the technical solution and business needs
Support the sustainability of the main assembly and logistic production KPIs (AY,FPY,OEE)
Ensure WCM (World Class Manufacturing) principles in process definition
Bill Of Process compliance (a cross regions standard process harmonization)
Support Work Organization / material delivery designing and WPD (Whirlpool Product Development) process
Our requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent background in terms of working experience preference for Industrial Engineering area
6+ years of experience in plants with an automation/automated logistic specialist (eg. AGV/AMR intro /material delivery optimization)
Fluent English
Availability for business trips mainly in Poland and Italy ( about 30-40% of working time)
Excellent communication, facilitation and teamwork skills
Ability to translate strategy to business objectives and individual objectives in an aligned manner,
Digital mindset to enable the factory evolution towards a digital transformation
Strong process orientation with proper digital tools (eg production planning /scheduling/predictive approach)
Knowledge of manufacturing solutions/tool as PLC, robots, vision systems AR/VR and AI, layout designing tool
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (WCM preffered)
Project management and change management acumen

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
