Your responsibilities
Work with manufacturing, engineering, quality, CI, EHS, maintenance, and financial teams at various eMobility sites to define strategy and I 4.0 roadmaps and assure proper implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions with special focus on all new launches across eMobility business.
Assure all eMobility programs have developed Industry 4.0 solutions to meet internal and external customer requirements and business needs. Work with Manufacturing Strategy Manager to assure the needs are included in the business case for new manufacturing lines and I 4.0 solutions are considered from initial phase of the project.
Responsible for working with IT professionals to make sure developed applications are user friendly, flexible and will address the business needs in an effective way.
Drive business alignment and standards across eMobility. The central point-of-contact across all sites regarding traceability and all others Industry 4.0 solutions.
Responsible for driving the pragmatic, integrated and structured approach driving all sites towards a pull Industry 4.0 mindset as part of continuous improvement activities.
Responsible for supporting all sites on executing the identified Industry 4.0 projects assuring they have flawless launches, and all expected benefits are achieved (financials and non-financials).
Drive and support I 4.0 projects and assure that all required I 4.0 are integrated into eMob lines according defined roadmap (e.g. SPC, OEE, Traceability, AGV, Predictive Maintenance).
Determines and consolidates appropriate I 4.0 leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objective.
Co-ordinates and represent eMobility for I 4.0 projects to improve systems integration and production process monitoring and optimization and report the status on I 4.0 reviews.
Supports RIE’s and Kaizens to improve performances of the plants and integrate I 4.0 solutions to drive improvements.
Works together with site CI leaders to develop regional capabilities in the areas of Industry 4.0, CI with regards to Lean and Manufacturing Excellence.
Responsible for driving the sustainability of achieved benefits through follow up reviews and lessons learned shared among regional and global teams leveraging 1:1 meeting, best practices forums, Industry 4.0 solutions councils.
Support Continuous Improvement activities and projects to drive improvement culture across organization including driving events, coaching and reporting outcomes.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial operations environments.
Regional operations experience across a variety of product lines.
Financial acumen and experience with business case development.
Effective communicator within environments ranging from shop floor team members, to operations leadership stakeholder groups, to senior leadership teams.
Strong interpersonal and planning skills with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities.
Ability to teach and coach teams effectively.
Strong curiosity, creativity, and ability to work with different levels of the organization.
Ability to define the right level of technology to address the business issue that has been identified find the right balance of investment, solutions, and business benefits.
Ability to learn quick new technologies and identify how they can be applied to improve the business – e.g., autonomous robot, COBOTs, autonomous AGVs.
Ability to analyze significant amount of data, aggregating them in a way that supports quicker decision-making process.
Ability to act with limited supervision.
Optional
MBA or other advanced degree.
Lean Six Sigma strong background and experience.
Good communication and presentation skills – both verbally and written.
Experience on working in a matrix and global organization (multiple cultures).
Program management experience (PMI certification would be a plus).
