    Information Security Incident Manager

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Maintain and develop the Information Security Management Process and governance
    • Perform Information Security Incident Management and create and distribute an Situational Report to relevant stakeholders in the organization
    • Trigger the breach notification process in cooperation with Nordea Data Protection Officer
    • Provide analytics support for the business areas, information security team and 2nd line stakeholders
    Additionally, based on your profile you may be required to:
    • Develop new application log monitoring triggers based on e.g. MITRE ATT&CK framework and similar.  
    You will be a part of a highly skilled specialists team which is in the Poland and Nordic countries.
    Your background:
    The ideal candidate has an academic degree in information technology, engineering or similar and knowledge of information security management.  
    Success in the role will require self-motivated personality who are able to be proactive and being able to reach out towards the business areas that we support.  
    We expect that you as a person thrive to deliver high quality material towards the business and contain a "can do" personality.
    To be successful in your position you should have:
    • The ability to keep on track and follow an incident until it is resolved and documented
    • The ability to understand technical information security incidents and present the information to a non-technical audience
    • Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate with all levels in an organization
    • Excellent written and verbal skills in English


    The offer

    Technology Information Security Office (TISO) is accountable for Group level IT security. Information Security Incident Management being a part of TISO, supports the GDPR implementation by detecting Information Security events in and around applications and handles Information Security breaches in Nordea.
    We are looking for an Incident Manager (Gdynia or Warsaw) with hands-on experience in Information Security Incident Management and a drive to use that experience to develop and improve the Incident Management Process and governance in Nordea and ensure that the business and IT gets actionable knowledge on relevant Information Security Incidents in a timely fashion.
    As part of the information security management, you'll be participating in coordinating the information security incidents by gathering information on the incident from various stakeholders and conduct reporting.
    Depending on your profile, you may also be required to assist with application log monitoring in an complex operational environment using Splunk and to participate in managing the information security incidents.
    These positions are initially subjected to extended working hours on weekdays (09-18) and may in the future be part of a 24/7 roster.
