Your responsibilities

  • Following documented procedures and retain necessary audit documentation

  • Complying with O-I’s policies related to Information Security and Network Access

  • Working on global IT Security queue in Service Management System

  • Reviewing, classifying and managing threats on Antimalware/Antivirus Consoles

  • Working on SIEM console and log analyzing

  • Managing and analyzing phishing campaigns

  • Working with vulnerability scanning tools

  • Understanding SSO principals and identity

  • Developing scripts for process automation

  • Recommending process modifications when opportunities for improvement exist

  • Collaborating with other global IT operational support groups, both locally and globally

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Information Technology or related discipline

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in Information Technology

  • Experience in system administration or IT security administration

  • Security or system administration certification will be advantage

  • Principals understanding of phishing attacks and campaigns, ability to analyze phasing emails will be a plus

  • Knowledge and working experience in Antivirus/Antimalware consoles

  • Understanding of vulnerability scanning

  • Basic experience in PowerShell/Python scripting, knowledge of YARA rules will be advantage

  • Knowledge of information security principles and practices will be a plus

  • Knowledge of security protocols and standards

  • Understanding best practice in software and security architectures

  • ITIL Foundations Certification is a plus

  • Effectively operate with global IT teams

  • Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver

  • Effective written and verbal communications to convey technical issues and material to non-technical people (end-users)

  • Must be able to communicate in English – both written and verbal

Job purpose:

The Information Security Specialist (IVM) is responsible for administering vulnerability and scanning systems and the day-to-day operations of the enterprise security information systems and infrastructure to provide protection to information assets in accordance with O-I policies, procedures and SLAs. This position will also support the monitoring of IT controls environment at O-I by collaboration with the IT Risk and Compliance organization.

Other tasks may include involvement in the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the creation and or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures as well as participating in vulnerability audits and assessments.

This position is a member of the Global IT Security Identity and Vulnerability team, that provides security services for the enterprise. Team members administer security systems and controls for global systems and other major regional applications. The focus of this position is on systems and applications in our environment including but not limited to OKTA, Cisco AMP for Endpoints, McAfee, RAPID7, vulnerability scanning tools, Privilege Access Management (PAM), regional applications, global applications, Microsoft Active Directory and other legacy systems. The position will also support the monitoring of the global IT environment with systems physically located in various locations around the world, or at 3rd parties. This includes evaluating log information, performing user access reviews, supporting incident response, and assisting with compliance audits and the IT Risk Management process.
