    Insurance Krakow team is a part of a global HSBC Insurance IT organization which is located in Poland, France, UK, Malta, Hong Kong, India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and Argentina. Our team will focus on integration layer of global insurance technology solutions.

    We are looking for engineers to help us build and run API-led connectivity, move away from the monolithic architectures of the past to a new micro services platform. You will be part of a DevOps team delivering solutions in ever shortening cycles and helping to drive the continuous improvement of our processes, tooling and engineering practices.

    In this role you will be responsible for implementation and maintenance system and process APIs in order to provide API-led connectivity and micro service architecture on cloud solutions.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet business needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests.
    • Support in identification, and resolution of incidents associated with the IT service.
    • Understand the business requirements and adhere to their priorities in order to realize business expectations.
    • Be an approachable and supportive team member with a collaborative attitude within a demanding, maturing agile environment


    • Experience on Java & Spring framework
    • Knowledge on API-led connectivity
    • Knowledge on micro service architecture
    • Knowledge on cloud development
    • Experience on Oracle
    • Very good analytical skills
    • Very good command of English
    • Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
    • Ability to work with team members in different time zones
    • A high level of motivation, quick to learn
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Language & Framework - JEE, Spring, Oracle
    • CI/CD tools - Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus
    • Test automation - JUnit, Selenium, TOSCA, JMeter, DevTest
    • PaaS/IaaS - Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Mule API gateway
    • Agile Toling - Jira, Confluence
    • Lean and Agile methods of software delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP, BDD, ATDD and TDD)
