Change Manager’s main responsibility is to provide evaluation and approval to Change requests about IBM Customer-approved process. Change Managers gather necessary information from all stakeholders, challenge statements delivered by Change Requestors and make sure that each approved Change has followed due process and poses least possible risk to Customer’s IT environment.

In this role you will:
  • join a team of experienced professionals working for a small group of Customers
  • have regular interlocks with the Customers, presenting the Change requests to them and gathering required approvals in a professional and timely manner
  • be responsible for chairing Change Advisory Board meetings where missing details on Changes are discussed and decisions on Change approvals is being made
  • oversee and coordinate maintenance weekends, obtaining reports from technicians on status of their tasks and delivering reports to the Customers
As our Customers and many of our colleagues are in Belgium and Luxembourg, fluent English is a must and Dutch or French at any level is an added advantage. We also value people who are self-driven and who understand business priorities as it is sometimes necessary to take decisions or engage management on short notice in situations with impact on Customers’ business.
Requirements:
  • English - B2 or higher
  • ITIL Foundation certificate or more than 1 year of working in an ITIL-based role
  • Change Management experience
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • French - B1 or higher
  • Dutch – B1 or higher
  • Formal IT education
  • Experience working with HP Service Manager or SCCD (Maximo)
  • Ability to manage other people in situations of high-pressure
