About the project
Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) has adopted a new class of technology as a solution to address business needs and support continuous improvement. Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS), currently consisting of Rapid (aka Robotic) Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a component of Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS) to enable digital operations & activities at SBD. The strategy for IAS is to mature a Center of Excellence (CoE), to centralize key functions, standardize and optimize processes, scale automation and technology within the organization, strengthen governance, and achieve the global long-term vision.
Your responsibilities
- Provide business analyst support expertise to IA team during the ideation and POC stages, help IA COE Leadership to identify, define & draft the IA opportunity responses
- Participate in business workshops to help shape best fit solution – by working closely with IAS and SBD Business / IT teams.
- Provide support to Control Center team throughout the development & deployment of new IAS solutions during POCs and implementation phase by:
- act as a communication bridge between IAS COE and the customer’s business stakeholders
- understand our customer’s business requirements and clearly documenting them for our IAS Architect and development teams to optimally deploy automation projects
- facilitate the mitigation of risks and issues throughout the automation cycle
- support our customers in implementing the required changes to make effective use of automation
- deliver demos, technical trainings and support for new/existing customers and stakeholder
- Provide post Go Live support to the SBD Business throughout stabilization phase
Our requirements
- Relevant Higher Degree desired (Finance, Accounting, IT, Business), or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Process Owner in Finance and Accounting, HR, Operations or ITO services – preferred in Intelligent Automation, RPA
- Strong English language - great verbal and written communication, other EU languages are an advantage, ability to present
- Strong process minded thinking, problem solver/ solution oriented
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments
- Understanding of project management principles
- Experience in implementing, delivering & executing process improvement and automation projects.
- Advantage: Experience with Agile methodologies, formal quality systems, such as Lean and Six Sigma
