Description

Credit Suisse's Internal Audit Department, is searching for a talented individual to join the Internal Audit COO team in Poland. You will be mainly responsible for assisting in implementing the Internal Audit strategy, with responsibility for audit resourcing and scheduling, MI and reporting, as well as for other department-wide operational and administrative support. You will report into the Regional COO.

 

You should have a consistent track record of organizational skills as well as understanding of governance, risk and control. You must have strong communication and presentation skills. You should be able to make decisions and judgments in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances as it is important and the role requires extensive interaction with senior managers inside of Internal Audit.

 

Your main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Audit Resourcing:

  • Performing regional audit scheduling for Europe, liaising closely with Heads of Audit and the Practice to align resource requirements with appropriate skill availability and development needs
  • Making adjustments to schedules as required by absences and overruns as directed by the Regional COO
  • Identifying scheduling conflicts actively and escalating appropriately
  • Proactively escalate resourcing/ skillset pinch points to influence IA’s global recruitment strategy
  • Monitor Practice productivity levels and address any emerging issues
  • Support for other IA regional offices as required by workflow
  • Monitor SharePoint capacity and create and archive sites where necessary

Reporting and Operations:

  • Supporting the IA Leadership Team in executing the departmental strategy, using experience and judgment to influence positive behaviours throughout the department
  • Operating Model/ Productivity
  • Contributing to regional cost and headcount planning, monitor regional cost budget and approve staff expenses, and report on unusual items to global COO.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc audit and/ or management related reports on Chief Auditors’ request, including regional Audit Committee reporting
  • Providing support and coordinate for local Legal Entity coverage and Audit Committee reporting (as required)
  • Supporting, as required, for global MI and reporting processes

Qualifications

You should have the following experience and skills:

  • You have 1-2 years of professional experience

  • You have strong influencing and interpersonal skills
