Internal Control Specialist

Your responsibilities

As an Internal Control Specialist, you will be monitoring internal controls as part of Group’s internal control program known as the Electrolux Control System (ECS). You will be based in GFSS Krakow and you will cooperate with several stakeholders across Business Area Europe.

-Conducting management testing and quality check for internal controls over financial processes at shared services center

-Evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data etc. And determine compliance with policies and procedures

-Acting as an objective source of independent advice and support in setting up the remediation plans

-Preparing and presenting reports that reflect the testing results and conduct the follow up to monitor implementation of agreed management remediation actions

-Assisting in the implementation of new controls, identifying internal controls deficiencies

-Professional cooperating with internal and external auditors

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Accounting or Finance or any related)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance & Accounting (preferably AP or GL) with a good understanding of accounting concepts, accounts bookkeeping, financial analysis, and cost accounting

  • Previous internal control testing experience would be an asset

  • Fluent knowledge of English

  • Analytical – You are able to identify key data sources and utilize data-driven insights to define conclusions

  • Data Collection and Judgment – You are able to work with large amounts of data, distinguish facts from opinions and interpretations

  • Objectivity and independence – You are objective and independent in gathering, evaluating information and not influenced by others in drawing conclusions

  • Active Listening – You understand comments and concerns expressed by participants during daily activities and meetings. You have ability to collect information from conversations, listening, observing, and viewing documents and records; you verify collected information and draw conclusions

  • Problem Solving – You ask questions that lead to identification of root causes of the problem. You help management to find practical solutions to problems identified as a result of testing

  • Organized – You choose priorities and focus on important matters, you organize your own work to deliver to agreed deadlines, Handle a variety of tasks at once

  • Ambitious and curious quick learner – You broaden your competencies, acquire higher level skills, and look for opportunities for continuous development
