For our Client, new developing financial Shared Service Center, we are looking for candidates to two TAX teams. Possitions available are Tax Accountant and Tax Compliance Accountant. Your responsibilities

  • Taking care of international tax compliance in regard to Transfer Pricing (Process descriptions, Transfer pricing controls, DAC6 etc.)

  • Maintenance of a Tax contract database and, if necessary adjustment of contracts

  • Monitor and evaluation of relevant changes in international tax law or in the field of transfer pricing (e.g. OECD BEPS, ATAD implementation laws, CbC reporting)

  • Support of all foreign companies in regard to withholding taxes, e.g. exemption certificates

  • Support for US Taxes

  • Contact and cooperation with local financial departments

  • European Project:

  • Coordination and improvement of the German tax compliance management system in regard to income tax, VAT, withholding taxes and transfer pricing

  • Execution of case-related effectiveness checks of ongoing monitoring measures/controls and support in tax audits

  • Preparation and improvement of tax guidelines and descriptions for all company divisions

  • Participation in the identification of process weaknesses and the further development of existing internal processes, methods and systems

  • Preparation of income tax (corporate and trade tax) returns of German companies

  • Review of tax assessment notes

  • Project support within the German finance and fax department

Employer requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or similar area

  • Professional experience in Finance: Tax or GL (General Ledger) – 2-3 years

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • Fluent/ very good English

  • Drive for results, attention to details

  • Analytical skills

  • Organizational skills and accuracy

  • Team player

  • Proactive attitude

Optional

  • SAP - will be a huge advantage

  • German Language - will be a big plus
