Interns who join us will have the opportunity to work in Quality Assurance team, helping IG ensure we deliver high quality products to our clients. You will contribute to a range of exciting QA projects supported by our teams of expert engineers.
Our Internship Programme:
Lasts 12 months
Involves placements working alongside our expert developers
Agile hybrid working model - you're expected to work 50% of your working time in the office
What you will do:
• Apply your knowledge gained in your computer science education to real-life problems
• Take part in the entire development lifecycle
• Find and implement smart ways to reduce the QA Efforts
• Work closely with development and PMO teams in enhancing the Overall product Quality
• Build tools to simplify and streamline QA operations
• Work with a global team across London, Krakow and Bangalore

Our requirements
What you should bring in:
• Being passionate about Quality Assurance
• Eagerness to solve complex problems using technology and eagerness to learn
• English language (B2 level preferably)
• Good Understanding of Quality Assurance principles
• Good Java/ JavaScript programming skills
• Basic understanding of Financial Markets
You should have or be about to complete a degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering. However, we also consider other STEM subjects, if you can demonstrate your programming knowledge.
You are passionate about IT, possibly have some prior real-world experience and are keen to learn and apply new technologies in a dynamic business environment
You should be eager to explore, curious and have keen attitude towards learning, besides technical software skills
