Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the valuation, management and delivery of investment opportunities across various Hoist markets. Responsible for managing day-to-day workload of Analysts and reporting on Analyst performance to Head of Investment Analysis.

  • Deputising for the Head of Investments when required, including attendance at executive, client and other meetings as directed.

  • Lead significant or complex transactions with the support of Analysts.

  • Valuation & analysis of non-performing, performing and secured loan portfolios.

  • Building a deep understanding of portfolios up for sale.

  • Preparing investment cases and presenting to the Hoist Investment Committee.

  • Reviewing portfolio performance and contributing in operational improvements via data analytics.

  • Presenting valuation and analysis to senior management.

  • Work with local teams to ensure integrated approach to transactions.

  • Monitor Analyst performance and progress against training plans.

  • Support Analysts with training needs on modelling and analysis.

  • Determine valuation strategy for transactions.

Our requirements

  • 4-5 years’ financial experience preferably in an investment role (will consider financial roles).

  • Strong degree in a economics/mathematical/analytical related discipline or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of NPL and/or PL markets (both unsecured and secured).

  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • A technical ability using software (SQL/R or other coding languages).

  • Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets.

  • Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

  • Able to work on own initiative and confident to take responsibility.

  • Fluency in English (other European languages an advantage).
