About the project
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

As a member of Laboratory Operations Team, for our Common Services and Infrastructure (COSI) unit you will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deliver in an environment where openness, trust and teamwork are encouraged.
Your responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and testing equipment, establishing connections to aggregation and core layers, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Data Center Network
- Firewalls rule configuration, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security, updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Monitoring performance, advanced troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network Technical Leader on network optimization and automation
- Maintenance of network services: IPAM, System Monitoring, AAA, creating and updating network documentation
Our requirements
- Working knowledge of networking hardware, especially from the Cisco Catalyst family: 2960, 3850 and 6500/6800, experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF, LACP, STP, VPLS, VPRN, IPv6), knowledge of Data Center technology (Spine&Leaf, FC or FCoE, FEX, VXLAN),
- Practice knowledge of Radius/Tacacs+, and high-availability solutions (HRSP, VRRP, VSS, StackWise, VLT, vPC), knowledge of monitoring tools: Check_MK, GestioIP, Cisco Prime, Jira
- Knowledge of NGFW: Palo-Alto, Nokia and Juniper routers, Dell switches
- Fluent English language, written and spoken, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical approach to problem solving, good teamwork skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment, ability to learn quickly and work under pressure
Optional
- Scripting skills (i.e. Python) and knowledge of automation software (i.e. Ansible), knowledge of GIT version control system and REST API
- CCNA or CCNP Certifications (or equivalent) will be a plus
