About the project

We are looking for an IS Business Analytic (Proxy Product Owner) to cooperate with Product Owner and our ABB Supplier(s) in a Managed Service operating model. The scope of work consists of ABB Web Portals (abb.com, intranet, other systems and applications) and taking accountability for those apps in scope of IS Corporate Communication team.

The main responsibility of this role is to become a speaking partner for Product Owner, to connect with other ABB Business Areas whenever needed, to rationalize business requirements, to manage backlog and to collaborate with our ABB IS Supplier(s) in an AGILE culture. This person will closely cooperate with other Business Analytic(s), IS Service Owner and IS Solution Architect(s) in the team and also other ABB IS teams. Reporting line will be directly to respective IS Service Owner.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate product/platform development by connecting Product Owner and development team on IS Supplier side by undertaking numerous actions and activities during Sprint developments.

  • Manage Product Backlog on behalf and with support of a Product Owner by co-leading ongoing reviews of business processes, to confirm requirements.

  • Collect and rationalize business requirements from different stakeholders and bringing them together as product roadmap.

  • Document system requirements at both high and low levels, by producing proper documentation and accurate process and data flow diagrams.

  • Receive and review deliverables from IS Supplier by attending a demo sessions and accepting developments.

  • Participate and improve Agile/SCRUM processes within company, by bringing your experience and industry expertise to the team, and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Support team building by creating a culture of open feedback and proactively propose and drive improvements within define scope of work.

Our requirements

  • IT Professional with 3yrs+ experience in the relevant area, with wide web communication platforms, applications.

  • Profound understanding of modeling methods, mapping business processes and creation of user stories and features. Nice to have is experience with tools like: Jira, Azure DevOps and similar.

  • Analyzing situation and requirements based on the use of existing company data, patterns, repeatability of processes and on this basis drawing conclusions and recommendations.

  • Analyzing business processes and translating them into web components, functionalities and features.

  • Experience in working with different business stakeholders.

  • Experience in working in Scrum/Agile team.

  • Experience in working with complex and enterprise Content Management Systems.

  • Knowledge about web development best practices especially in the area of user experience in web communication portals, enhanced with knowledge of Web Security, GDPR, SEO.

  • Backlog management and ability to organize work of development teams.

  • Co-organization of Sprints with IS Supplier, accepting demo, signing off developments and presenting deliverables to Product Owner(s) and other stakeholders.

  • Practice in facilitation of stakeholder meetings and stakeholders management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English C1 is expected).

  • Ability to handle multiple activities in a short timeline and tight deadlines.

  • A team player with service oriented mindset, that can work with little supervision.
