About the project

As an IS Security Effectiveness Manager your role will be to ensure the overall effectiveness, financial performance and vendor relations of the organization's information security area. You will also lead a team dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of security and risk management while balancing business needs and objectives.
We hope that through continuous assessment and improvement you will foster a culture of security, collaborate with stakeholders and develop and maintain strong vendor/supplier relationships. The goal is to protect the organization's assets, reputation and customers' trust by maintaining a secure, reliable and efficient information security program.
Your responsibilities
Monitor the service operations of security service providers, manage performance, tools effectiveness; Oversee purchasing, planning, and utilization tracking
Ensure that services are documented and take lead in identifying gaps, managing improvements and evaluating the delivery of the services roadmap
Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement new processes and procedures and monitoring their effectiveness
Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, customers and external partners, to keep them informed about service delivery and to ensure that service delivery is integrated into the overall business strategy
Monitor the performance of service delivery and implement changes to improve service effectiveness and efficiency
Establish working relationships based on collaboration, trust and open communication
Lead and supervise both internal team and external 3rd party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the services
Our requirements
Master's Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
Above 12 years of relevant experience in IT or equivalent
Proven experience in Compliance, Organizational Development, Project Methodology, and Governance
Relevant security certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
Significant experience in information security, including experience with industry-specific security standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC2
Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
Knowledge of ITIL processes and superior knowledge of IS technology
Experience in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a service-oriented organization
A mindset of continuous improvement, adaptability and the ability to implement new processes and technologies to improve the organization's security posture
Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
Fluent spoken and written English
