About the project
As an IS Security Specialist your role will be to protect the organization's information assets by continuously improving and implementing effective security measures. You will have to stay ahead of evolving threats and maintain the highest levels of security and compliance, ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organization's information while enabling business operations. You will be asked to provide expert guidance and support to the organization in all aspects of information security.
Your responsibilities
Review the effectiveness of security measures on an ongoing basis, establish and oversee internal and external information delivery channels, and monitor security skills coverage
Monitor the service operations of service providers, manage performance, handle escalations, and monitor the effectiveness of security tools
Identify gaps in services documentation and processes, manage improvements, and evaluate the delivery of the services roadmap
Ensure that the organization's information security services are delivered effectively and efficiently
Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement new processes and procedures, and continuously monitor their effectiveness
Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and external partners, to keep them informed about service delivery and to ensure that it is integrated into the overall business strategy
Consult and give advice to ensure others comply with ABB IS Security Strategy
On assignment and request identify, propose, advise and implement IS services
Actively share up to date knowledge of new and emerging IS technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB, all within in the area of responsibility
Our requirements
Master's in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with around 10 years of experience
Certification in information security, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) would be a plus
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) preferred
Extensive knowledge of security tools, techniques & methodologies combined with strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks
Good management skills for interaction with service provider and internal organization, a team player and quick learner
Deep understanding on how hackers work and ability to keep up with the fast pace of change in the criminal cyber-underworld
An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving with strong attention to detail combined with ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
Fluent in English language (spoken and written)
