    IS Service Manager for HR, Master Data, Employee Lifecycle and Integrations

More than 10 years ago, our Information Systems Delivery Center in Krakow was built up. Last year it successfully merged into the newly created Global Business Services organization. This allows us to expand our global activities and support even further. To strengthen our IS HR Delivery team, we are looking for an IS Service Manager with deep understanding and experience about how to efficiently manage, develop and deliver global IS solutions for HR function.     We are currently looking for candidates for the position of IS Service Manager for Human Resources (HR). The core responsibility of the IS Service Manager is manage the delivery of “End to End” IS solutions/services within the IS HR department and Master Data, Employee Lifecycle Management and Data Integrations solutions, including demand collection, projects delivery and ensuring quality operations for the solutions in scope.

    • Collaborate with IS Business Engagement Managers and Global Business Process Owners to understand the demand, provide delivery proposals and implementation for the Master Data, Employee Lifecycle Management and Data Integrations IS solutions, based on various technologies: primarily SAP HR, SaaS cloud solutions and in-house applications
    • Establish a strong relationship with HR stakeholders and act as IS focal point in MD/Integrations area for the internal clients
    • Provide overall leadership, control and take responsibility for the given area globally
    • Participate in projects Steering Committee meetings as lead IS manager within area of MD, ELM & integrations,
    • Coordinate the planning and consumption of the service budget
    • Act as a cost center owner for the Master Data solutions, ensure financials of the given applications in scope are in line with the plan and properly controlled
    • Ensure that ongoing service delivery and support organization meet the agreed business requirements and SLAs
    • Functionally lead project managers within given area, lead and ensure timely and on cost delivery of projects
    • Functionally lead business analysts, solution architects and implementation specialists working on the HR Master Data & Integrations applications and projects
    • Execute end-user satisfaction surveys to detect end-user usability and satisfaction issue
    • Cooperate and collaborate with application managers to optimize the service delivery experience and performance
    • Be part of the IS HR department leadership team, providing IS HR strategy and IS delivery


    • 3+ years of experience on IS service management or IS management experience of SAP HR solutions
    • 7+ years of experience, working in IS organization with focus on HR area (HRIS experience also valid)
    • Ability to take end-to-end service accountability for complex and diverse IS HR solutions, independently from where the underpinning technology components, operation support processes or professional capabilities reside
    • SAP HR experience required, with focus on master data and employee lifecycle processes (PA, OM, Integrations, Authorizations)
    • Experience with implementation and support of a cloud-based (SaaS) solution is of benefit
    • Deep understanding of the overall context of HR processes and IS technologies, especially within Master Data, Employee Lifecycle and Data Integrations area
    • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
    • Experience and strong skills in collaboration with external suppliers and consulting companies, including offshore model
    • Experience in project set-up, contract management (e.g. SoW) and business case preparation
    • Experience in participation in RFx processes
    • Ability to create and manage financial plans and budget
    • Ability to deliver IS solutions matching business requirements with focus on cost optimization and benefit maximization
    • Demonstrate strong people and project leadership skills, ability to influence others to achieve objectives
    • Previous consulting experience with design and implementation of solutions is a plus
    • Fluent English
