About the project
ABB Information Systems (IS) delivery team for IS Finance Domain is looking for an experienced IS Solution Architect to support delivery and operations of IS Services for Tax and Assurance areas of ABB finance systems landscape.
The person in this role will support the Global Domain Architect for Finance systems in shaping and maintaining technical landscape of the IS Services dedicated to Tax and Assurance functions. Being responsible for applications technical design will have significant contribution into the current and the future Services delivered to the business units.
Your responsibilities
Own, manage and develop the architecture of the Tax and Assurance Systems.
Participate in initial projects assessment to identify optimal placement of new demands in technical landscape; Contribute to decisions on reuse vs buy vs build
Define the technical requirements of the solution and ensure alignment with other modules and surrounding / integrated applications and solutions
Design and develop the architecture of applications according to technology roadmap and architecture guidelines
Cooperate with the Developers and Testers to ensure the solutions are being developed according to ABB strategy and Finance technology roadmap
Document technical architecture of newly created applications or changes of existing ones
Cooperate with Business Analysts to identify requirements impacting technical architecture of applications
Involve in DevOps process implementation for in-house developed applications
Keep knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and IS industry practices, bringing learning into ABB
Lead and supervise a technical team (developers, testers)
Our requirements
Master’s degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience in BI solutions, preferably Microsoft stack
Working experience on MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS
Fluency and experience in data modelling, understanding of both tabular and multidimensional models
Understanding of application frameworks, database technologies, interfaces, and security
Agile (esp. Scrum) knowledge and working experience
Knowledge of SAP SD/FI is a plus
Experience in connectivity with SAP solutions is a strong plus
Understanding of ITGC controls is a plus
Finance processes knowledge (esp. Tax, Assurance) is a plus
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
