About the project
Booksy is looking for a talented IT Business Analyst to join the product team and help shape unique, user-centric software and experiences. At Booksy we work on mobile and desktop-based apps that thousands of our clients use every day. Your responsibilities
Developing a thorough understanding of the whole Booksy apps ecosystem (Client and Business apps, web and mobile).
Working closely with Product Owners, the UX team and other stakeholders to elicit and document our clients’ requirements.
Drawing conclusions and suggesting changes in existing IT systems.
Creating new as well as revising and maintaining existing software specifications and other documentation.
Supporting Product Owners, the UX team and other stakeholders in the decision-making process related to product design and development.
Diagnosing differences between specifications and implementation.
Seeking opportunities for the development of the IT BA and documentation area in Booksy.
Our requirements
Experience in IT business analysis.
Ability to analyze and describe complex problems and processes.
Knowledge of IT analysis tools, techniques, methods and best practices.
Working knowledge of UML.
Exceptional conceptual thinking skills.
Extremely high attention to detail.
Great teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
Full professional knowledge of English.
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to check all documentation types (requirements, specifications, user docs, UI copy etc.) for consistency and accuracy.
Multitasking and proactive approach.
Ability to work under pressure and timely implementation of tasks.
Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.
Optional
Knowledge of / experience / interest in the hair & beauty industry would be a strong asset
Knowledge of marketplace, SaaS, POS software solutions
