Your responsibilities

  • Is a recognized functional expert who is responsible to define user requirements based on business needs – focusing on the key business processes and solutions in that area

  • Provides input into the overall IT Solution design to ensure the needs of the business are clear and understood

  • Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality and supports the business in modifying business process instructions as needed.

  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes

  • Coaches junior ITBS’s

  • Possesses knowledge of the impact of the service delivered on specific business process or generic service

  • Has knowledge of the effects of changing demands on the IT solution

  • Possesses ability to content knowledge of functional IT domain and delivered IT solutions

  • Conducts monitoring and reporting to own organization and stakeholders

  • Drives process improvements with users, process experts and IT.

  • Advises and drives decision making process in change advisory board meetings.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree recommended

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related domain of business knowledge/expertise or IT solution background.

  • A high level of computer literacy in standard desktop packages (Microsoft office, sharepoint) also desired

  • Knowledge of the impact of the service delivered on specific business process or generic service

  • Good at stakeholder management with solid communication and written skills

  • Understands the business impact of different solutions and can assess and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirement, costs and risk

  • ERP (SAP Finance and Supply chain), CRM (SFDC), Digital (Marketing, e-commerce), Service (ServiceMax), reporting (SAP BW, Qlik, Power app) - nice to have

  • Awareness of SW classes, vendors, trends.

  • Awareness of SW implementation processes – DevSecOps, Agile / Scrum, e

  • Lean experience (Daily management, Problem solving, Value Stream Mapping, etc

  • English fluent, Russian will be a plus

Job Description

  • The IT Business Specialist in this role provides strategic services to support the requirements of the business partner leaders, including Process compliance, Process improvement, application convergence and continuous communication. The IT Business Specialist is the bridging instance between the businesses, functions, sales and service geographies and the Philips IT function.

  • Key tasks are to ensure that the Business objectives are supported and enabled by IT (Projects and programs), that IT works according to expectations (Operational Excellence) that the business is satisfied with Philips IT services and solutions and that the costs are in line with the targets.
