Your responsibilities

  • Software delivery oversight - experience of working as an IT project manager / delivery manager in the past will be a key success contributor

  • Active engagement in tracking the opportunity pipeline

  • Active involvement in supporting client pursuit teams to bid for engagements; coordinate internal resources to develop content and pricing for proposals

  • Managing the resourcing of new engagements; ensure resource availability and allocation for team augmentation projects

  • Acting as an escalation point during project delivery and playing a proactive part in project governance

  • Contract management

  • Building relationships across the firm to help identify new opportunities

  • Support and facilitate meetings with diverse, and often remote, teams with different specializations

Our requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Business Development management and IT Delivery management

  • Proven track record in delivering IT implementation projects, ideally at significant scale in an international environment

  • Ability to see tasks through to the end and meet tight deadlines, taking responsibility for their completion and maintaining quality throughout

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated skills in complex problem solving, critical thinking and collaborating with others

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in geographically dispersed environments

  • Ability to speak and write English fluently and to a high standard (essential)

  • Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships at all levels

  • Willingness to travel - given the nature of the market we work in, there would be an expectation to travel to the UK (usually London) for meetings once a month

You’ll work as part of PwC IT Services’s UK Go-To-Market (GTM) team, supporting one of our GTM Directors to work with colleagues in PwC UK to pursue client opportunities around customer / front office technology, set up projects for successful delivery and play an active role in the project delivery governance, all with a view to helping us grow revenue.
