About the project
Hitachi ABB Power Grids IT have initiated an IT Transformation program for the set up and migration to a new “stand alone” global IT environment. We are looking for a talented IT individual to be part of building and operating a new IT function equipped to meet our future needs. As an IT Hosting Product Owner you will be responsible for delivery, development, monitoring and improvement of the IT Infrastructure Hosting Products (IaaS OnPrem/ IaaS Cloud/ IaaS Cloud ERP/ CaaS/ PaaS/ VDI) and related components in order to meet applications expectations and service level commitments.
Your responsibilities
- Cooperating on the design and build up of the Hosting Product
- Defining Hosting Product development road map aligned with supplier delivery and Transition & Transformation plan
- Supporting Transition Service Agreement Exit activities
- Ensuring the IT Hosting Product scope and design fits applications requirements,
- Acting as a single point of contact for the business and application teams to design tailored solutions and identify improvement potential as well as align and manage their expectations towards the IT Hosting Product
- Ensuring security and compliance standards are taken into consideration into the design decisions
- Continuously improving the product in terms of delivery speed, stability and reliability
- Driving automation and modern service delivery principles like DevOps and Reliability Engineering in coordination with chosen hosting supplier
- Driving innovation through initializing and executing PoCs for new technologies to enable these services
- Maintaining the IT Hosting Product Service Catalogue
- Managing and working with associated supplier in scope of the given IT Hosting Product and ensuring the contractual duties are executed properly; defining metrics and reports
- Participating in coordination of high severity incidents and escalating cases to Product Group Management when required
Our requirements
- Above 6 years of IT experience within the relevant IT domain
- Excellent product development and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IT environment
- Strong experience in leading/ managing IT people who do not report directly
- Strong experience in translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions
- Experience in IT service management and delivery
- Experience in external supplier management
- Good knowledge of IT Hosting solutions (Cloud/ On-prem)
- Experience in complex stakeholder scenarios, cross-functional problem solving and good understanding of IT procedures and policies
- Team leading experience would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on time, in a cross-functional, virtual, and international teams
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong and working knowledge of ITSM processes
