Your responsibilities
Ensuring a fully functioning and reliable infrastructure service, for all Daimler Truck locations, within Poland. This will include being a single point of contact for all topics relating to infrastructure, as well as managing local projects, and managing supplier relationships / performance
Manage the infrastructure service and our infrastructure suppliers, who are responsible for our workplaces, services desk, networks and data center services e.g. by leading service meetings, review service quality, placing purchase orders and manage escalations
Support the local Chief information officer (CIO) and their team in all infrastructure related topics and projects, e.g. by consulting the operational aspects of the application landscape
Support the infrastructure planning and implementation for new locations
Design nonstandard infrastructure solution for all kind of local business demands
Support security related tasks, like local penetration tests
Monitor and manage the lifecycle of our IT infrastructure
Our requirements
Degree in IT related subject or knowledge on comparable level
Fluent English skills
Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure topics
Knowledge in application operation and data center topics
Knowledge in network architecture
Knowledge in private and public clouds like AWS and Azure
Agile project management methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in managing suppliers
Experience in coordinating complex change and harmonisation projects
Proficient in the use of M365
Strong Customer Focus
Highly organised, self-motivated and results driven
Ability to work as part of an international team, as well as being part of a local market team
Ability to work on a high level of individual responsibility
