IT Infrastructure Support Engineer role has two different demotions. The first priority is to support and deliver the service according to service level agreements in-house (desktops, laptops, and peripherals) and remotely across Europe. Secondly is to help to ensure SLAs and quality are met. We expect the candidate to take on cases from the service desk tool actively, and troubleshoot problems, track that issues are handled in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

 

Within the role candidate should be good in planning and organizing as managing the tasks for the whole team will be one of the responsibilities.

IT Infrastructure Support Engineer
Work place: Gdańsk

Hybrid work model - about 90% of duties performed remotely, 10% stationary.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • 2nd and 3rd line of remote support for the operating systems and computers across Europe,
  • Support for local office equipment and workspace,
  • Application support (incl. M365 applications, Zabbix, JIRA, WSUS, SCCM, JAMF),
  • Identity and Access Management,
  • Patch & software management,
  • Assisting in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance,
  • Coordinating support tasks across the teams to ensure maintenance within the SLA,
  • Participating in controlling and reporting the quality of tickets,
  • Communicating/coordinating actions with the third parties,
  • Building relationship, both externally and internal,
  • Ensuring documentation is updated to ITIL standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT support positions,
  • Practical knowledge about Windows,
  • Knowledge about Microsoft Office application, Windows Server, Active Directory and other MS solutions,
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure environments,
  • The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people,
  • Customer service skills,
  • Familiar with ITIL,
  • Independent and self-motivated,
  • Communicate well in both Polish and English, both written and oral, as part of the European infrastructure department.

Nice to have:

  • WSUS, SCCM, Intune experience,
  • Experience in participating in IT Projects,
  • Experience in support of the Atlassian applications (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket),
  • Understanding virtualization (VMWare).
