Your responsibilities

  • Create and maintain overall architecture guidelines, process design, and engineering for the on premise and cloud based content and document management systems (SharePoint, OneDrive and FileNet).

  • Be responsible for establishing and continuous improvement of systems and processes to track and maintain content systems, documents management systems, application roadmaps, and associated programs and services.

  • Evaluate and implement new solutions or improvements to existing systems to provide continuous improvements and fill any gaps identified for business needs.

  • Work with leadership to educate, understand, and influence the technical direction associated with enterprise content and document management systems.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key IT service providers to manage and optimize the services and support necessary to ensure reliable service for our users.

  • Provide technical expertise/strategy in the facilitation of new project requests.

  • Hold our managed service providers accountable for providing reliable, resilient, high-performing, and cost-effective services to meet our employee and customer needs.

  • Support architecture, process, and metrics for content and document management systems (end-to-end).

  • Be responsible for development of application standards and applicable support processes.

  • Work with managed service provider to ensure service levels are met and expectations managed while providing leadership in continually improving and maturing partnerships to provide the highest level of customer service.

  • Select and manage vendors for related products and associated services in partnership with Global Sourcing.

  • Work with Global business IT personnel in each operational area to develop a scope and understanding of the business requirements and the services needed to meet them.

  • Maintain alignment of customer needs with the optimal offering of technologies so our business has the right capabilities to meet their ever changing customer demand.

Our requirements

  • College degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or a combination of relevant experience, education and training

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology

  • Demonstrated familiarity with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, FileNet, and supporting technical systems

  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and to work in a variety of different business situations

  • Knowledge of common ITIL processes, including Availability Management, Capacity and Performance Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Infrastructure and Platform Management, Change Control, and Monitoring and Event Management

  • Experience dealing within and navigating a diverse political environment for a global, multi-business organization

  • Understands business requirements and can communicate technology concepts to business owners in a clear and concise manner

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills at the Technical, Management and Executive Levels
