About the project

Amer Sports Financial Shared Service is seeking an ambitious IT OPERATION SYSTEM SPECIALIST. In your role and as a member of a team of talented professionals you will have the opportunity to not only ensure high level of solutions availability and performance, but also to influence the definition of processes and company standards in this area. The main goal of these positions will be, to take over the ownership of administrating, monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting infrastructure environments. Working in a multi-country and multicultural company, you will act independently or in cooperation with the global IT operation experts.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide support for VMware server environment.

  • Support for cloud services operations.

  • Monitor network and systems, follow up performance and availability.

  • Analyze service requests and incidents in server and network environment, resolve or escalate and follow-up.

  • Operate and contribute to Knowledge Database.

  • Monitor and manage infrastructure backup and restore.

  • Actively participate and challenge the new project implementation performed by Global Operation Team.

Our requirements

  • VMware - general lifecycle management of VMs, from deployment do decommission phase, VMware administration support experience.

  • Practical knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD technologies.

  • End-to-end monitoring systems management skills and solid understanding of theoretical concepts behind monitoring solutions.

  • Basic understanding of backup concept (Commvault tool experience nice to have).

  • Operating systems administration experience (Windows Server and Linux).

  • Cloud operations (Azure/AWS) – resources administration/troubleshooting skills for Azure general management of vm’s, log querying, troubleshooting, network and firewall troubleshooting.

  • Network knowledge (WAN, LAN, WLAN, DNS, DHCP) on basic level.

  • Fluent English.

  • Good communication and documentation skills.

  • Rigor, autonomy and teamwork in daily operations.

  • Ability to evaluate risks and handle multiple priorities.

Optional

  • Apache, Nginx, HA-Proxy, Tomcat, IIS configuration, debugging and best practices configuration for high security level.

  • Experience in technologies concepts for Internet-wide published apps: CDN, GSLB, Client geo-loc, Bot Protection and WAF, Application Gateway.

  • HTTP-layer focus for web-security troubleshooting and analysis (request/response concept, methods, headers, parameters, URI spelling [what is a host, a path, a string query]); Basics in Web attacks (SQL inject, XSS).

  • Imperva/F5/Azure Gateways Alerts & whitelists management.

  • Web security alerting review: ability to work with products like Imperva Cloud Application Security or Imperva WAF Gateway to check blocking events and exchange with Applications teams to act if blockings are legitimate or not.

  • Web-certificates management: experience with a monitoring solution; experience with OCSP stapling and proactive solutions like auto-enrollment or Certbot systems (for Let’s Encrypt).

  • ITIL framework understanding
