IT Operations Support Team Leader
Location: Katowice

Job Description:

The IT Operations Support Supervisor will lead our L1 and L2 Support teams to provide excellent customer service to both internal customers on workplace technology items as well as external customers using our API Integrations with Workday, Taleo, etc. and issues raised through our Account Management team for resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective team management, providing direction, motivation and career development
  • Participate in the formulation of departmental objectives, plans and policies.
  • IT Change Management, including planning, impact analysis, scheduling, and communication.
  • Systems life-cycle management, including implementations, administration, and on-call support.
  • Manage engineering support processes to ensure efficient issue resolution and minimal business impact, acting as escalation point for serious issues
  • Technical acumen in the area of servers, networks, storage, databases, and application support
  • Prepare and implement policies, procedures and standards relating to support delivery.
  • Partner with a wide range of internal business units to develop and deliver on service level agreements
  • Foster an atmosphere of open communication, development, and innovation

 Experience:

  • At least 2 years of expertise in managing teams(employee and customer facing)
  • Proven leadership, with the ability to strategize, negotiate, and influence.
  • Experience working as part of a larger, distributed, global IT organization.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills.

 Scope of Impact:

  • Manages a team of professional and senior administrative employees or manages activities of team leaders in a support/production function.
  • Has responsibility for performance and results.
  • Spends all or large proportion of time managing team, rather than doing more involved aspects of work done by team members.
  • Provides technical guidance to team members.
  • Assigns and reviews work and monitors results.
  • May train professional staff
  • Ability to work different shifts (24/7)

 Customer Impact:

  • Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with key customers.
  • Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions.
  • Effectively communicates by adjusting communication style to audience.
  • Explains difficult concepts and persuades others to adopt a point of view.
  • Interacts with management both within and outside of work unit on significant matters.
