About the project

RBI Group (13 network bank + HO in Austria) is initiating holistic transformation of core banking systems. Our starting point is very heterogenous CBS environment, often based on non-modern solutions and the challenge is how to modernize it and increase business flexibility, while at the same time managing the impact on costs and other strategic priorities.

Your responsibilities

  • Be part of IT Strategy & Transformation Team supporting HO & NWBs in CEE
  • Take part in projects which aim in integration of two Banks from IT perspective (PMI)
  • Perform IT scanning of potential entities for investment (IT Due Diligence process)
  • Lead the RBI Group IT involvement in IT PMI and IT DD projects realized by NWBs
  • Lead the development of RBI Group IT standards & best practices for IT PMIs and IT DDs
  • Contribute to build-up and development of Group IT PMI & DD Team with coaching and growing the Team members
  • Consult, challenge and co-deliver projects (depending on specific project needs)
  • Taking a role of trusted advisor to leadership Team in HO and NWBs and provide specific guidance and strategies around integration
  • Supporting the creation of executive-level analysis, briefings and reports for internal and key stakeholders
  • Providing field expertise and know-how for other project team members
  • Being accountable for on-time delivery and project completion while identifying and resolving roadblocks for PMI and DD engagements
  • Cooperating with internal and external (vendors, partners, consultants) teams in order to ensure successful delivery of the project
  • Communicating with different levels and types of Stakeholders (operational - various IT experts, business lines; leadership – HoD, management board members etc.)

Our requirements

  • Experience in IT due diligence and Post-merger Integration projects (ideally in Financial Services sector) from business or consulting
  • Understanding of Banks’ business, processes and IT-systems incl. typical migration challenges (application landscape, data centres consolidation, IT synergies and integration costs, migration timeline and efforts etc.)
  • Good competences in IT PMIs key areas – architecture (TAL), organization (TOM), infrastructure, sizing, migration, testing, retention
  • Experience in IT consulting will be an asset
  • Project management experience in complex and dynamic environment
  • Ability to drive change in a multinational environment
  • Good structuring, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of English language; other CEE languages are additional advantage
  • Readiness to travel within CEE (occasionally)
