IT Procurement Senior Expert with German

Overview:

This is the job in the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement department, where you will be responsible for leading software sourcing and purchasing initiatives in the team, managing all applicable commercial and contractual aspects within the IT/ Software category globally. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain support and acceptance by demonstrating sourcing value to respective initiatives at senior levels 
• Coordinate execution of successful IT/ Software vendor contract negotiations
• Develop, negotiate, execute and manage contracts for Business Application Software products and services 
• Evaluate and review existing product and service arrangements and recommend innovative strategies for efficiencies and cost savings
• Identify and translate operational requirements into contractual terms and conditions
• Introduce sourcing ideas to the business, e.g. identify potential sourcing alliances between companies
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partners 
• Coordinate execution of successful vendor contract negotiation
• Develop credibility and operate as subject matter expert and become the first point of contact for the business partners
• Build positive relationship/ alliances externally with key vendors
• Represent Software category and support others in the broader procurement category team

 Qualification:

• Minimum five years’ procurement experience. Software sourcing/ procurement is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate to a broad range of audiences, including technology teams, management, executives and vendors
• Experience working within compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures, both internally and externally
• Analytical skills and attention to details
• Flexible personality to handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of Banking / FinTech products and business model will be an asset
• Proficient in English and German both in writing and speaking
• University Degree or equivalent in either Economy, Business Management or Legal preferred
