Your responsibilities

  • Cost management – preparation of IT budget and its forecasting and tracking against actual spending

  • Ensures budget guidelines are followed

  • Documents standard processes and process flows

  • Procurement

  • Supports IT Purchasing Process globally across Vesuvius’ sites, including on-time approvals of purchase requests, purchase requisitions and invoices in due coordination with suppliers and stakeholders

  • Maintains documentation of purchases according to Group policies

  • Maintains e-signature process for IT contracts

  • Resolves issues related to IT Purchase Requests, IT Purchase Orders and Invoices in due coordination with Accounting and IT Team

  • Assists with sourcing, RFx, negotiations, and contracting activities

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of experience,

  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate environment, SSC operational areas will be an asset,

  • Proficiency in MS Office including strong skills in MS Excel data manipulation,

  • Knowledge of Finance processes – nice to have,

  • Knowledge of Procurement processes – nice to have,

  • Project management experience – nice to have,

  • Very good English (B2/C1),

  • Demonstrated self-starter with proactive attitude and willingness to learn,

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills,

  • Good problem-solving skills,

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities,

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and within agreed deadlines.
