Providing detailed guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques
Setting -up, supports and provides detailed guidance on project management software
Providing basic advice and guidance on individual project proposals and plans
From supplied planning and actual data, using spreadsheet and project management software to setting up detailed work breakdown structures and project networks.
Producing planned and updated project and summary reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries
Maintaining programme and project files. Services project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings
Maintaining project performance metric data and estimating models. Reviewing models and recommends changes
Administrating project and programme change control. Reviewing processes and recommends changes
Setting up and controls the Configuration Management system for the project or programme.
Taking a cross programme view of some aspects of the project management software processes, procedures, tools and techniques
Excellent English - C1 level (mandatory)
Being familiar with the project development life-cycle and typical issues associated with the implementation of IT projects
Bachelor degree level education or relevant professional qualification
Prince 2 Foundation
Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation
Knowledge of methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan
Knowledge of methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects. Examples: product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, conflict resolution
Knowledge of the automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording. Tools and techniques for risk management
Knowledge of the IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks) and the IT applications and service processes used within own organisation, would be an asset
