About the project
Opportunity to drive to next generation security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for both cloud-based and on premises solutions This role reports directly to the Business Information Security Officer for EMEA and APAC regions and helps create policies and continues to innovate processes and services to advance securing our digital landscape.

Your responsibilities
1. Work with the engineering teams to advance secure coding standards that are based on industry-accepted best practices such as OWASP Guide, SANS CWE Top 25, or CERT Secure Coding
2. Facilitate the evolution from legacy solutions to contemporary architectures agile and site reliability methodologies
a. Have a working knowledge of at least one of the three major cloud platforms, (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
3. Maintain any authored Acxiom technical Standards, Framework gap analysis and security consulting
4. Work with the assigned line of business providing consulting on defect management remediation (i.e., network scanning, code scanning, etc.)
a. Serve as the subject matter expert on secure SDLC and provide timely guidance to all areas of the business
5. Maintain Security & Risk Management operations related work:
a. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing cross-training, backup support, department goals and enthusiastic customer service.
b. Deploy, configure, and maintain the web application firewalls and key management services
6. Maintain audit readiness
a. Gather evidence and store in the prescribed manner for use in audits and assessments
b. Assist in the preparation and execution of audits and assessments
Our requirements
Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2+ years of IT security professional experience
Background in a technical discipline, (i.e., network administrator or system administrator or database administrator, etc.)
Very good English language skills, written and spoken
Optional
Security Certifications such as (CISSP, GSEC 401, CISM, CISA)
Preferred candidates will be creative, independent thinkers with a passion for success, visionary, and confident with clients.
Technical skills, (i.e., operating system knowledge, shell scripting, SQL, etc.)
Candidates must have the ability to:
See beyond the immediate need of the client and recommend long-term innovative solutions
Work with customers who may be demanding
Demonstrate attentiveness to detail by tracking multiple open issues to closure in past work experiences
Be a self-starter and work in a self-directed manner
Maximize their area of expertise by leveraging a broad view understanding of how it fits within in the work stream

German language skills will be a bonus
