About the project
For our SAP Solution Delivery department, we are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP specialist to help us excel in the next steps of our S/4HANA journey in DSV. SAP Solution Delivery is part of the Group Applications IT in Global IT, and it is our responsibility to roll out SAP FI/CO/SD/MM across the global set-up in DSV, implement any other SAP-based solutions, help support and improve our business processes as well as stay compliant with legal regulations in various countries.

Your responsibilities
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who can follow directions and guidelines and comply with best practices standards and at the same time be able to assess the impact of requested changes in the overall processes
It is imperative that you speak and write English effortlessly as we are a global company, and our corporate language is English
Our requirements
Minimum 2 year working experience on similar position
Good knowledge of PHP 8, Laravel experience highly preferable, Python (Flask, Django) would be an asset
Experience writing queries in TSQL (MSSQL)
Experience with Composer and teamwork with GIT (BitBucket)
Basic HTML, CSS knowledge, knowledge of web application environment (HTTP, sessions, cookies, RESTful APIs)
Teamwork oriented attitude
Experience working with JIRA and Excel
Fluency in English (B2)
Understanding of business requirements to complete relevant technical solutions
Capability to work in structured and analytical way
Ability to communicate with people on different levels in organization
Team player approach and focus on contributing to the team
Optional
Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other similar areas
Experience with S/4 HANA, specifically in CDS Views and new programming paradigm
Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ERP as an ABAP developer
Advanced knowledge of IDOC creation, maintenance, and configuration
Advanced knowledge of Webservice creation, maintenance, and configuration
Advanced knowledge of OO and Webdynpro programming
Advanced knowledge and experience with Workflow (development, extension, debugging)
Experience with test driven development
Experience with Fiori platform / UI5 development for Fiori (creation, extension, debugging)
Experience with OData services
Experience in functional modules like FI/SD/MM is a plus
Personally, you have good interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication, and use proactive communication to drive tasks forward. You can work on multiple tasks at once, enjoy working in a team and in a multi-cultural environment
