We are looking for IT Senior Operation Specialist to join the Application Maintenance Group Function team in Gdansk. The team’s mission is to secure the daily operations for several of Nordea’s applications.

About this opportunity
You will play a valuable role in Group Credit Management Process delivery factory, supporting the development teams (both in the Nordics and in India) in their sprints, but mainly focusing on day-to-day activities.
What you will be doing:
- Application Operation, Incident and Problem Management including RCA – 2nd line support.
- Assist and engage with platform operations teams and the delivery factory in technical matters, to ensure compliance and efficient operations.
- Event Management - taking a proactive approach to application monitoring, evaluating and working with improving application performance and stability.
- Assist developers in analyzing data in production, running scripts etc., perform post-deployment verifications to ensure service availability.
- Building a run book, i.e. establishing a solid structure / ways of working / knowledge base for our services from an operational standpoint that can be utilized over time.

We expect the ideal candidate to have:
- Experience working with Incident and Problem Management following ITIL framework
- Experience from working within 2nd line technical support
- Knowledge of at least one of relevant components within the Nordea Midrange technology - JVM, Virtual Servers, SQL-databases, DB2, Windows, SOAP/REST, Job Schedulers, Splunk etc
- Good Network infrastructure knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and in writing
- Understanding of Agile methods is an asset
