About the project

Due to intensive development of our company we are setting new teams which will be responsible for supporting global Beiersdorf structures in the fields of financial and IT processes.

The IT department provides operational support of IT processes in business applications, infrastructure and service desk for Beiersdorf afiliates employees all over the world.

We are looking for passionate, innovative professionals to join our international team.

Your responsibilities

  • As a member of the Global License Management, your role as software licensing consultant is:

  • supporting, managing and administering licenses and contracts for software/-application products across the organization

  • budgeting and forecasting, procurement and issuing Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quote and planning the renewal of software licenses.

  • facilitating communication between the enterprise and its providers to ensure licensing compliance.

  • maintaining documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning software asset management (SAM).

  • managing activities concerning license compliance audits to be able to answer to requests from software vendors effectively.

  • managing and maintain the quality of data within a Software Assets Management tool to ensure optimised usage of software assets and facilitate compliance across the software-application portfolio.

  • identifying, manage and escalate any software licensing risks which may cause the organisation to be non-compliant with the licencing terms and conditions.

Our requirements

  • University degree

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience working as a software license consultant

  • Firm understanding and practice experience with ITIL and software asset management (SAM) best practices

  • Good understanding and practice experience with managing and maintaining a software library

  • Working knowledge of vendor license models such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, and VMware etc.

  • Experience of using software discovery and reconciliation tools e.g. SSCM

  • Experience of SAM tools such as Snow, ServiceNow, HP Asset Manager

  • Certified SAM related qualification such as the Certificate in Software Asset Management is a plus

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
