We’re looking for an IT Service Support Specialist – this person will be responsible for the local operational support and establish of local IT services in STC Warsaw. These local IT Services are including issue solving connected to applications, user hardware and network/infrastructure.

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Support and maintenance of local IT services (i.e. applications, user hardware and network/infrastructure)
  • Proactive user support in the Workplace environment
  • Proactive local infrastructure maintenance to guarantee continuity of IT services
  • Support the local installation of PCs, notebooks and software components (also as part of rollouts)
  • Providing support during onboarding processes (e.g. PC setup, IT induction training) in cooperation with HR department
  • Co-creating local IT requirements
  • Development and updates of technical manuals
  • Co-responsibility for standardization of ICT equipment (SW, HW and local infrastructure services)
  • Coordination of the resolution of problems with application, hardware and software
  • Support of local ICT and Security equipment
  • Administration of the access control system
  • Supporting integration testing of new or changed solutions
  • Cooperation and coordination with external suppliers
  • Awareness of service level agreement targets
  • Creating progress reports when involved in rollouts


  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • More love for people than for computers
  • Fluent in English language (both written and spoken)
  • Passion for technology with 1-3 years of technical experience
  • Openness to cultural diversity
  • PC, LAN/WLAN network troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in working according to professional processes in the area of ITSM
  • Knowledge of the processes of service management (ITIL)
  • Knowledge of the asset management process
  • Experience in usage of ticket management systems
  • Experience in working in international teams
