Operating system

Your responsibilities

  • adherence to global IT security processes, procedures and policy

  • assist with security investigations to determine root cause, impact and remediation steps

  • planning, installing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Exchange server systems (Hybrid architecture)

  • monitor, document and report on system utilization and capacity

  • resolve escalated email routing, connectivity, permissions and filtering support issues

  • integrating with already deployed application

  • participate in a migration from 3rd party systems to a full Exchange Hybrid Architecture

  • monitor backups and perform periodic test restores

  • continually improving delivery processes to drive operational excellence and support the IT Security Strategy

  • major upgrades and maintenance of core infrastructure

  • proactively propose improvements for how to reduce risk and potential future incidents

  • provide incident response support, including mitigating actions to contain malicious activity and facilitating forensics analysis when necessary

  • recommends security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk Regularly track work in a ticketing tracking system with a thoroughness acceptable for knowledge base use

Our requirements

  • communicative knowledge of English (at B2 level)

  • deep knowledge regarding Administration of Exchange systems as well as further development of the corresponding system landscape

  • knowledge regarding Administration of Skype as well as further development of the corresponding system landscape

  • knowledge of Trend Micro Antivirus Software and Tivoli/SP Backup Software for Exchange

  • support of our Exchange /Skype systems on the 2nd level and 3rd (with vendor) support levels

  • monitoring, trouble shooting and governance of the corresponding servers and services

  • “housekeeping” of the platform

  • maintenance and revision of the corresponding documentation

  • collaboration in IT projects

  • have experience in dealing with central infrastructure services and tools, e.g. MS Active Directory, GPO, WSUS, DNS, VMWare, Office 365

  • minimum 3 years of experience in working in a similar operation position

  • basic administration knowledge Microsoft Windows administration (2022, 2019, 2016, etc.) related to problem solving and diagnosis

  • knowledge of patching / hardening languages ​​of Windows operating systems,

  • experience in work in the area of ​​Security

  • support for creating users (other group)

  • efficiency in daily work and well organized

  • ability to work in a team

  • works result- and goal-oriented

  • develops pragmatic solution

  • willing to learn constantly new things
