About the project
The IT department of PF Logo Express is service oriented and customer centric and therefore focusses on optimizing the use of Information Systems to assure the business can efficiently and effectively service our distributors and end-customers and for the factory and warehouse to work efficiently.
The department consists of various persons, representing multiple disciplines. The primary responsibility of the role focuses on Systems Management and Network and Infrastructure related activities.
Your responsibilities
User management (Active Directory) and installation of new hardware and operating systems
Keeping OS releases and patch levels up to date
Monitoring and management aimed for availability, stability, and security
Review of various logfiles and backup validation (Veeam)
These responsibilities can take place outside the regular office hours, generally through a planned maintenance window
1st and 2nd Line Service Desk support
Participation in projects and migration processes, providing technical input and advice
Executing the policy & procedure directives upon the IT Security Policy
Documentation: contributing to the Disaster/Recovery Plan, Policies & Procedures document, Service Catalogue and Service Level Agreements
After on-the-job implementation: The systems management of our virtual (VMWare) server farm (Linux/Windows), SAN data storage, and Juniper routers/switches: installation and maintenance of Linux (CentOS) and Windows Servers, database management (MS-SQL).
Our requirements
Demonstrable knowledge, one year or more experience on the similar job position
Willingness to work occasionally outside regular office hours (e.g. Maintenance Window)
Proactive, self-starting team player
Working closely with colleagues in Europe (mainly Netherlands and United Kingdom)
Excellent command of English and Polish
Optional
Certification on Microsoft Windows Server, Linux CentOS and VMWare, routers, switches, servers, SAN, etc.
