Your responsibilities

  • 1st and 2nd level support for all IT requests (application and Systems) submitted in Vesuvius

  • Categorizing and prioritizing end-user support requests by utilizing a ticketing system to provide up-to-date status and escalate when needed

  • Cooperation with local, regional and global teams as needed

  • Acts as the primary contact for all Vesuvius users

  • Installs administers, maintains and documents services in accordance with company standards

  • Suggests improvements if applicable

  • Acts as the primary contacts for the regional and global teams during project implementation

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT support area

  • Good knowledge of standard computer technology

  • Good understanding of common applications, especially Office 365

  • Good knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems

  • Ability to reliably work under pressure

  • Must be able to work in an international context where help may be provided from abroad

  • Customer-oriented thinking

  • Good communication skills

  • Advanced English

  • Occasionally traveling to other Vesuvius locations
