About the project
As an IT Support Engineer you are responsible for the operational support and maintenance, as well as developing and updating of IT- and telecommunications-systems. In this role, you will deliver technical support to our business units with the solutions provided by the Workplace Technology organization, and resolve end-user issues at the highest level. You will also contribute to work on local and global server-based applications on operational and project levels. You will lead or contribute to complex IT projects by developing your technical expertise and organizational skills in a global IT organization.
You will support the planning, implementation, optimization and strategic expansion of our Workplace IT services
You will identify potentials for optimization in existing processes and translate into practical solutions
You will independently carry out security and infrastructure projects from planning, implementation and installation to handover and quality control
You adapt and improve standardized solutions tailored to global and local requirements
You will support the IT-Management in reporting, data privacy, budget design and security audits
You will be in constant contact with our business service providers and work together to develop technical interfaces and process solutions to meet the respective business requirements
You have 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise IT environments
You have in-depth knowledge of complex server/client structures with a focus on Microsoft Windows (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10)
Further knowledge in the areas of server-virtualization, remote desktop services, asset management, security management, basic network knowledge, and Android and Apple IOS / MacOS system management is a great advantage
Profound practical project-delivery experience is necessary, basic knowledge of project management is desirable
You are confident in dealing with service providers as well as our internal employees
Fluent Polish and very good English with a pronounced technical vocabulary is required

As of this year, one of the key priorities of product strategy overall within Wolters Kluwer’s LR division will be on the creation of the VisionApp. With the VisionApp, we are creating a shared product platform integrating expert solutions capabilities with research capabilities across LR including the upgrade and standardization of our content. In scope to be built in or converge to the VisionApp are several of our European research platforms. As part of the divisional UX team you will be a key contributor to the creation of one shared pattern-based and configurable UX setup, backend and architecture for the LR solutions in scope.
