Job Summary

Work would involve taking care of a number of business customers in the United States. Some of the responsibilities:

  • Level 2 through 3 IT support
  • Work on IT implementations and projects
  • Support LANS, WANS, VPNs (Cisco, Ubiquiti, and other vendors)
  • Support Office 365 deployments
  • Support Google Apps deployements
  • Support cloud security systems (Barracuda Networks, Cisco Umbrella, Nessus and others)
  • Support backup systems (Altaro and others)
  • Use ConnectWise PSA ticketing system to document work
  • Use Kaseya network management platform to manage customer networks
  • Automation of procedures through scripting and programming

Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to fluently communicate in English with clients and coworkers by phone and in writing. We are looking for people that either lived and worked in IT abroad or worked in a job position that required them to speak fluent English.
  • Computer science degree or engineering degree in related industry. Master's degree in computer science a big plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT in job positions where English was used
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows networking (proficiency with AD, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with Cisco networking technologies
  • Experience and understanding of security systems (anti-virus, backups, web filtering, email filtering, 2FA systems and others)
  • Experience in end user support (proficiency with Windows 10, MS Office and other common office applications)
  • Experience with Office 365, Azure and Google Apps would be a big plus
