IT System Engineer

• Technical education (msc.);

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience as a system engineer;

• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD on prem and Azure Active Directory);

• Experience in administration of services in a high availability environment;

• Practical knowledge of LAN / WAN, VPN, IDS / IPS technologies and network protocols;

• Responsibility, resistance to stress, ability to work in a group;

• Experience in solving system problems, diagnosing and solving hardware / software errors;

• Good knowledge of network issues at the level of the system administrator, allowing for easy communication with the network team;

• Ability to work with system monitoring solutions, finding security or performance problems;

• Very good knowledge of Linux Server;

• Very good knowledge of Windows Server 2016-2019;

• Ability to configure and maintain high availability services;

• Experience in working with systems monitoring systems, finding security or performance problems;

• Proven experince in Microsoft Azure; especially in computing, storage, network and security components;

• Experience in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Suite;

• Advantage to have experience in IT Security;

• Backup strategies and Disaster Recovery;

• Proven knowledge of verbal/written english skills (min. B2), English is the primary language (will be a member of an international team), other languages are a benefit but not a necessity;

• Advantage to have experience with Atlassian products like Confluence, JIRA and Bitbucket;

• Advantage to have experience with docker and Kubernetes;

• No fear of documentation; creating, updating and maintaining (English only);

• Working knowledge of ITIL.
