Your responsibilities
Build, test, deploy SIEM and Security Architectures
Regularly perform security checks (e.g. pentests and vulnerability scans)
Serve as a deeply skilled and knowledgeable resource within the SIEM technology area
Perform security incident analysis and recommend remediation steps as second level to our Security Operations Analysts
Track existing processes and offer solutions for improvement (for both: technical and processs side)
Implement new processes with the goal to optimize company's security system
Participate in project teams together with development team providing consultation on information security implementation
Participate on automation of the incidents prioritization and false positives identification
Participate on interconnecting the SIEM tool with sources of security incidents – e.g. logs from servers, network and security devices, Vulnerability Management system, Antivirus system, etc.
Participate in audits and provide reports
Our requirements
2-3 years of experience as a System Security Expert or similar role
Very good knowledge of IT security systems (Firewall, Webproxy, VPN) and knowledge about operating systems architectures
Hands on experience in security systems usage/deployment including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, DDOS solutions, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, SIEM, vulnerability-scanning, web gateway, proxy appliances, NAC, and antivirus tools etc.
Knowledge and ability to verify logs in Sentinel for reporting and auditing
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services) and of network/web related protocols.
Knowledge of potential attack vectors such as XSS, injection, hijacking, social engineering, and so on
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Optional
Certification, such as CCNA or OWSE
Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (optional CISSP or CompTIA Security+)
Knowledge of Agile Development processes
Basic programming knowledge in a scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)”
