Your responsibilities

  • To lead, co-ordinate, manage and deliver the activities of the IT Infrastructure Delivery Department

  • Transform, expand, develop and manage local IT Infrastructure Delivery Team.

  • Develop and maintain the IT portfolio, through working collaboratively business divisions, external partners and other technology Heads

  • Build and manage delivery teams, in conjunction with direct reports, that are appropriate to successfully deliver the programmes and projects within the IT portfolio

  • Ensure the overall IT portfolio is budgeted and planned

  • Ensure that overall IT portfolio risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are appropriately managed and communicated to stakeholders.

  • Manage, measure and report on the required quality, scope, budget and outcomes of IT delivery projects to the appropriate stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with other delivery teams to take advantage of and develop good practice frameworks, methodologies across company

  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

  • Act as point of contact for other company departments.

  • Act as liaison between various business COO and ITID teams, representing the process remediation work stream. This will involve communicating with senior management, by presenting recommendations in a meaningful format and lead change efforts

Our requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, finance, business operations, strategic planning within IT Infrastructure environment

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

  • Experience with IT strategic planning, governance and management

  • Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution

  • Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business and technical teams

  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams

  • Ability to deliver concise time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams

Role Purpose

Partnering with the commercial areas of the business to ensure the IT Strategy and Services align with the short term and long-term business direction. Managing business relationships serving as the bridge between IT, business, finance, ensuring that IT is seen as an effective partner. Work with multiple stakeholders to help understand how their business direction can use technology best and then is committed to deliver solutions and excellent customer service to ensure IT services meet current and future business needs.
