Overview

In order to facilitate adoption of this strategy we are looking to recruit Batch Operators to manage our daily batch operations.

The Team

Digital Business Automation are a global function with over 250 staff in 12 countries. We are responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for a number of critical products across the organisation, as well as ensuring their availability, recoverability, security and currency.

We are currently creating a Batch Operations Team in Kraków being part of Digital Business Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Working within a 24*7 Team to assist with the day-to-day Operations of batches hosted from zSeries/iSeries/Distributed systems
  • Monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completion of endpoints/milestones
  • Identify delays or bottlenecks and resolve or escalate accordingly
  • Perform level 1 and level 2 support and resolution
  • Monitor real time performance of the computing environment
  • Track, escalate and document all outages and incidents
  • Participate in crisis calls as applicable
  • Liaise with Stakeholders to meet customers’ expectations
  • Proactively identify problem situations and resolve to give maximum customer satisfaction
  • Expect to work on a rotational shift basis 24*7

Requirements

  • Very good verbal and written English skills
  • Previous experience of IT Operations
  • Experience of working in any of the systems of zSeries/iSeries/Distributed platforms
  • Experience of using any Workload Automation or Scheduling Products like Control-M/ TWSz/CA-7
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to SLAs and customer deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent organizational & prioritizing skills.
  • Good understanding of Service Management Processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management

Beneficial but not essential

  • Knowledge of German and/or French
