Overview

This role resides in IT Infrastructure Security (ITID).

IT Infrastructure Security as part of the wider IT Infrastructure Delivery (ITID) organization is responsible for ensuring that ITID conforms with all applicable information security regulations and policies globally.

The IT Infrastructure Security SME is responsible for ensuring the consistent application of security across infrastructures arising from the requirements from Cyber Engineering and within ITID.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Ensuring security consistently apply across infrastructures arising from all the changes and identification of new control gaps (e.g. Red Team findings, CBEST findings, regulatory related activity such as Kestrel)
  • Acting as the Infrastructure Security SME particularly on Enterprise Services technologies including Linux/Unix, Middleware, Database, VMWare etc.
  • Interfacing with all ITID led projects to ensure security requirements are embedded at the design stage
  • Building and maintaining the infrastructure security architecture with the relevant ITID domain team
  • Acting as the regional representative in Europe to engage Line of business and Cyber team
  • Providing 3rd level infrastructure support to Cyber Incident Management during significant cyber events
  • Participating in incident and issue triage, interfacing with Cyber Security to determine severity and whether incident or remediation processes will be applied

Requirements:

  • Educated to bachelor degree level, with Information Technology related major
  • 10+ years’ experience in IT Infrastructure related role
  • Subject matter expert of Linux OS build in virtualized environments
  • Subject matter expert of the Bank's middleware products and their security standard
  • Strong knowledge with vulnerability scanning and penetration tools (eg. Tenable Nessus)
  • Strong knowledge of system management tools including System Centre, Tanium, HPSA, SPLUNK etc.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Service Providers including AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
  • Highly capable to manage and remediate security gaps identified by regulators and auditors
  • Strong self-motivation, with good leadership, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
