Your responsibilities

  • ING offers you the chance to make the absolute most of your talent in a traineeship within the bank: the International Talent Programme (ITP). During the course of the traineeship ING will invest in your future now to develop the experts and leaders of tomorrow.

  • Our traineeship is a two year programme. It starts with three rotations, of which you can even do one abroad, if circumstances allow. After these three rotations you start in your permanent role. The traineeship offers a lot of flexibility. What does this mean? You’ll start within your traineeship track. One of your three rotations can be done in a different track, to give you the opportunity to experience and make impact on our clients, products or processes from a different angle. Our requirements

  • University Degree (min. Bachelor) in: Econometrics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Law

  • Fluent English

  • Understanding & views on economic landscape & banking industry

Risk management: essential to ING’s future

Risk management is essential to safeguard ING’s future. The Risk traineeship at ING has a broad scope and covers the management of credit risk, market risk, operational risk, model risk and compliance risk. The importance of modelling and data analysis is growing all the time, so there are plenty of opportunities for development in these areas too. As a Risk trainee, you help to do the groundwork for decisions about which risks the bank is – and isn’t – prepared to take.
