Your responsibilities
We are looking Test Engineer with positive attitude and willingness to learn to work with the team on driver monitoring systems, test preparation, test execution, test automation for all major car and trucks manufacturers. As our specialist, you will get possibility to learn new solutions for advanced monitoring passengers behaviors like drowsiness, distraction, gesture recognition and many more. You will have possibility to learn or if you have some experience in testing area gain it. You will work with teams which are open, helpful and experienced. You can count on any help from the team. Your role:
Your official position is the Test Engineer for Driver Monitoring Systems delivered to many Premium brands/OEMs worldwide. In practice, you will be responsible for testing of monitoring systems that are designed, developed and tested at Aptiv. Modern monitoring systems are high complexity SW products, that require development of thousands of tests and scripts, together with appropriate tools. Therefore, in parallel to testing of final product you will have an opportunity to develop your programming skills. You will have a chance to design and implement new solutions, extending our automated test environment. If you already have an experience in testing of embedded or automotive products, we have also open job positions for Experts.
Execution of manual or automated test cases
Performing functional tests in dedicated test vehicles
Creation of test cases based on analysis of Customer requirements
Reporting of testing results and bugs detected
Collaboration with SW developers to ensure high quality of SW products
Implementing automated tests and enhancing current test environment (option)
Development of automation tools, new solutions and concepts (option)
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or science department (or last year of education)
Basic knowledge of computer programming/scripting languages
Willing to learn new automotive technologies and future solutions
Basics of electronics and measurements tools
Good command of English
Optional
Interesting diploma thesis, own projects in the field of electronics or programming
Knowledge of one of the programming languages: Python, C/C++, TCL
Knowledge of any automotive industry data interfaces: CAN, Ethernet, LIN, OBD diagnostics
ISTQB certifications related to software testing area
Experience (3+ years) in testing of embedded or automotive for Expert positions
