Your responsibilities
- Role Description : As a mix engineer within CMT (Centralized Mix Team) the role is responsible for delivering mixes of high quality according to expected efficiency and deadlines. Furthermore, the role is expected to over time to be able to work with all types of mix tasks and across all types of clients, tiers and complexity. The role is also part of a global setup, although situated in the Warsaw facilities
- Specific Responsibilities As a mix engineer within the Warsaw entity of the CMT, it is expected that the engineer:
- Delivers mixes to the quality as defined within the CMT standards.
- Performs and outputs mixes efficiently and aligned with CMT workflows and efficiency expectations.
- Understands and keeps updated on client specifications.
- Strives for continuous improvement of qualifications and skills aligned with CMT Technical Supervisor and CMT Lead Engineer.
- Clearly communicates issues, concerns and feedbacks to CMT Lead, CMT Tech Supervisor, CMT Lead engineer and CMT Coordinators according to issues and severity.
Our requirements
- Although not fully covering, nor a complete necessity, as a mix engineer within the Warsaw entity of the CMT, it is expected that the engineer:
- Has advanced Pro Tools skills
- Has advanced understanding of EQ’s compressors, reverbs and other tools used.
- Has sufficient and relevant education or experience within the industry or similar lines of work.
- Understands dubbing complexity across different types of projects.
- Is pragmatic, analytical, and methodical in approach.
- Is structured and well organized.
- Is a team player.
- Understands written information well.
- Has a great flair for communication.
- Has the ability to work in a busy environment with time constraints and tight deadlines.
- Location Warsaw – no remote option.
