About the project

Join our Embedded Competency Center and change the world in the field of electromobility and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The project team develops software for fast chargers of stationary electric cars in Java technology (for Linux systems). The project is run according to the OCPP 1.6 (Open Charge Point Protocol) standard. Thanks to the use of advanced algorithms in the system it is possible to effectively manage the use of energy.

The Developer will be responsible for the integration of the Java layer with a lower layer in C++ (Java 80%, C++ 20% or only Java).

Your responsibilities

Design and development of embedded applications
Ensuring integrity and communication between different systems
Working with solutions: 3G, Ethernet, cloud solution, multi-threaded programming, authentication mechanisms, RFID, touchscreen
Ensuring high-quality code and following good practices, including writing unit tests
Work in Agile methodology (GIT, Gerrit)
Work in an international environment (cooperation of 3 teams in different locations)

Our requirements

Min. 4 years of experience in Java 1.8 programming
Higher technical education (Computer Science, Electronics or related)
Experience in working with Linux systems
Knowledge of C++ (data exchange and synchronization between Java and C++ applications)
Basic knowledge of electronics (reading schematics)
Ability to use own and market experience to design applications
Good knowledge of English (minimum B2)
Experience in working in SCRUM/Kanban
Ability to work in a team, good communication skills
